Fr. Steve Rugg

Fr. Steve loves living and ministering in rural New Hampshire where we can cultivate a spirituality of ordinary life. He lives on a small farm with his wife and son. Fr. Steve is also a biblical scholar and enjoys teaching the Scriptures at the School for Ministry in the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire. Fr. Steve holds a master of divinity, a licentiate in sacred theology (New Testament), and is ABD (all but dissertation) on his PhD in New Testament and Early Christianities at Boston College.

Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of the Episcopal Church. Leadership is a gift from God, and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of sexual identity or orientation.

Lakes region convocation

Our nearest neighbors in the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire are part of the Lakes Convocation. Elected representatives from each congregation, as well as any other interested attendees, gather monthly to share our congregations’ highlights & challenges, to promote and invite other folks to upcoming special events, and to discuss topics of shared interest. Elected convocation representatives also serve as delegates to the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire’s annual convention.

Our convention delegates include our clergy as well as lay representatives.
